Margaret Jean Wilson, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, December 15, 2017, at the age of 89. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Marion Lane.Jean is survived by her sons; Naaman (Carol) of Petitcodiac, Stephen (Colleen) of Richmond Hill, ON, Rev. Gilbert (Jo–Anne), and Clarence, daughter Deborah Pearson all of Dobson Corner; siblings, Wesley (Sharon), Roy (Linda), Davies (Betty), and Elizabeth (Ken) as well as her nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband Gordon, four brothers, three sisters and one grandchild.
A service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held in the chapel at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 am with visitation held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Fair Haven Cemetery.

Edith May O'Kane 1936 - 2007 SALISBURY, NB - Edith May (Wilson) O'Kane 70, of Salisbury passed away Friday, March 9th, 2007 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Pine Glen she was the daughter of the late George and Ada (Bishop) Wilson. Edith is survived by her long time companion, Rick Mah; sisters, Harriet (Jim) of Ontario, Isabel (Dave) of River Glade; and brothers, Ben, Ernie (Marion), Ray (Linda) and David (Sandy) all of Ontario. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews Edith was predeceased by her husband, John Neal; brothers, Russell, Earl, Roy, Gerald, Gordon, and Cecil. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Sunday March 11th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel Monday March 12th, at 1;00 pm. BISHOP, HELEN ANN - 1943 - 2012 - Helen Bishop of Moncton passed away suddenly at her residence on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Born February 4, 1943 in New Waterford, NS, daughter of the late Russell and Ethel Bannister. Helen will be sadly missed by her children Rose Cole (Bryce Eagles) of Fredericton, Charlene Williams (Alan) of Moncton, Louetta Weagle of Moncton, Daniel Cole of Havelock, sisters Ruth Leaman (Russell) of Elgin, Debbie Garber of Salisbury, Coreen Clarke (Doug) of Petitcodiac, Kellie Hodgson (John) of Pleasantvale, brothers David Bannister (Helen) of Colpitts Settlement, Leonard Bannister of Colpitts Settlement, Perry Bannister (Maureen) of Colpitts Settlement, step-children Pauline Weir of Edmonton, AB, Beatrice O’Leary of Etobicoke, ON, Glen Bishop of Moncton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren, 20 plus step great grandchildren and 20 plus step great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Helen was predeceased by her husband Orris Bishop (1986), her brother Russell Jr. (Sonny) as well as her granddaughter Elizabeth Cole.Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, February 6 from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, February 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Pauline E. Douthwright, 73 years, formerly of Peoples Park Tower in Moncton, passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Home on Sunday, February 7, 2010. Born in Moncton, NB she was the daughter of the late Frank and Flora (Wells) Douthwright. Pauline was a member of Highfield Baptist Church. Left with fond memories are her two sisters Josie Vickers (Bob) and Freda LeBlanc both of Moncton; brother Paul E. Douthwright of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her special friend Kenneth Branscombe; four sisters Edna Coates, Flora Matthews, Marjorie Douthwright and Yvonne Colburn and by two brothers Frank and Robert Douthwright. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 2:30pm. with Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
124. Gordon James AYLES
Gordon James Ayles passed away on October 25, 2015 at Lakeview Manor in Riverview. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Gordon James Ayles Sr. and Prudence Wells.
Gordon attended the school of the deaf in Halifax, NS, where he met the love of his life Christina (Robertson) Ayles. Together, they enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Gordon was employed by Lanes/Bens Bakery for over 30 years. He was involved with the Wesleyan church and very active in the deaf community. He enjoyed taking the bus to meet friends, attending the horse races and trips to PEI with his wife.
Gordon is survived by his beloved sons, Walter Ayles (Anne) and Kane Ayles (Yvonne); grandchildren, Angela Rafferty (Richard), Jennifer, Heather (Murray), Kailey (Brandon), Shannon (Ronald), Matthew and Lindsay Ayles; great grandchildren Keira and Liam Rafferty, Nathan, Anthony, Jaxson and Lennox. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother George and sister Marion.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10 am, followed by a funeral service at 11 am, both in Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB, E1E 3V9, 506-852-3530. Burial will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception in the Garden View Room.

MacDONALD, JEAN I. - Jean I. MacDonald, 79, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday morning, January 9, 2012. Born in Hillsborough, she was the daughter of the late James and Vera (Beaumont) Wells. Jean was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and was retired from Crawford Housewares (20 years service). She was a member of The Moncton Wesleyan Church and attended Shediac Bay Community Church during the summer months. Jean was a member of TOPS Chapter #3157 for over 29 years, enjoyed camping, ceramics, baking and cooking for her family and friends. Jean will be sadly missed by her husband of over 38 years, Clinton H. MacDonald; her children, Kathy Niles of Riverview, Linda Steeves of Moncton, Stephen Parker (Debbie) of Miramichi, Clayton Parker (Krista) of Vancouver Island, BC; daughter-in-law Debbie Parker of Lakeburn; nineteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandson; stepchildren, Peggy Fraser (David) of Turtle Creek, Darlene Gould (Greg) of Sackville, Michael MacDonald (Lynn) of Edmonton, AB, Linda Campbell (Robert) of Turtle Creek; sister, Doris Hawkes of Hillsborough, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Brenda Ruth and one son, Jimmy.Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 and 9:00 pm.
