Helen Crossman of Pine Glen NB passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday Feb. 27, 2024 with her family at her side. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Percy Schofield and Matilda (O'Blenis)Prior to her retirement Helen worked at Deluxe French Fries on St. George St. and Rivercrest Variety in Gunningsville for several years. She was an amazing woman who excelled at everything she attempted, from cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, bowling and darts. She was known for making excellent divinity fudge and donuts.
She will be dearly missed by sons Robert and Travis (Valerie) and her daughters Judith Hillier (Robert), Linda Gray, Dawn Mercure, son in law Robert Lutes, and sister Beatrice Schofield, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Russell, sister Ethel Lutz, daughters Marilyn Lutes and Carolyn Cameron.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place at Cobb's funeral Home and Cremation Center and a private graveside service will take place At Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ruth Cameron at the Moncton Hospital on Feb 26, 2021 after a battle with cancer. She is now reunited with her husband Jack.
Predeceased by her father Russell Crossman.
She is sadly missed by her three sons John, Jason and Jayme all at home. Her mother Helen; brothers, Robert and Travis Crossman of Pine Glen; sisters Marilyn (Robert) Dawn Mercure, Linda Grey and Judy Hillier of Mississauga, ON; brother-in-law Gerald and Olive Crossman and sisters-in-law Mary and Joan Cameron. Also by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic and social distancing protocols there will be no public services held. A private graveside will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.

Freda Eudora Crossman
The death of Freda Eudora Crossman, widow of the late W. Leslie Crossman, of Lakeview Manor and formerly of Pine Glen occurred at her residence on Sunday August 4th 2002. Born in Turtle Creek on September 27th 1914 she was the daughter of the late Beverly and Dora (Berry) Ricker. She had attended the Bethel Baptist Church. A homemaker she enjoyed quilting, sewing and was a very good cook.
She is survived by her daughters Iva Frazee (James) of Pine Glen, Carolyn Demmings (Lee) of Lower Coverdale, Lorna Dunfield (Gordon) of Upper Coverdale, Brenda Demmings (Gary) of Dawson Settlement, Elaine Eagles (Colin) of Pine Glen, one son Wayne Crossman of Moncton, one sister Lydia Gilbert of Riverview and one brother Russell Ricker (Audrey) of Parkindale, 16 grand children, 19 great grand children and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by two infant children, three brothers Otis, Herman and Naaman and one sister Hilda Fullerton.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Rd. Moncton with visiting hours Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be on Wednesday August 7th at 2pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel with a reception to follow in the family reception room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. WARD, ELEANOR - 1926-2012 - Eleanor Ward passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the age of 86. Born in Moncton on January 20, 1926, she was the wife of the late William Ward. She was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Lane) Crossman. She is survived by her five sisters, Doris MacLennan (late Sandy) of Halifax, Hazel Twigger (Harry) of Quispamsis, Joan Garland (Dale) and Betty Melvin (Doug) of Moncton, Brenda Magee (David), and one brother, Roderick (Faye), both of Riverview, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Mildred (Brewster) Crossman; two brothers, Clarence and Ronald Crossman; and one sister, Marina Smith.
Her funeral was held on Friday, August 3, 2012 with interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
181. Eleanor CROSSMAN
WARD, ELEANOR - 1926 - 2012 - Eleanor Ward passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 at the age of 86. Born in Moncton on January 20, 1926, she was the wife of the late William Ward. She is survived by her sister Doris MacLennan of Halifax, by her four step sisters and one step brother all from Moncton. Also survived by close friends Harold and Thelma Berry of Stoney Creek, NB. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents John and Mildred (Brewster) Crossman and by several siblings. Eleanor was employed for many years as an office manager at Zellers in Moncton.
Eleanor will be resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, August 2nd, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, August 3 at 2:00pm with Dr. Terry Branscombe officiating. Interment to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations in memory of Eleanor may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice

CROSSMAN, RHODA - 1923 - 2011 - Rhoda Crossman, 88 years, passed away at The Jordan Lifecare Center, on Sunday, December 25, 2011. Born in Pleasant Vale, NB on February 13, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Irving and Bina (Leaman) Collier. She was a retired employee of the Cash and Carry Dry Cleaning, working in reception and receiving. She is survived by her daughters Sheila Burt of Moncton, Joan Murray (Arthur) of Riverview, Deborah Murray (Fred) Riverview; sons Cerdic (Thea MacDonald) Crossman of Berryton, Gene (Gail) Crossman of Petitcodiac; daughter in law Linda Crossman of Moncton; thirteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leverett Crossman in 1991; sons Robert, Brian and Gary; grandson Tony; sisters Vera Wilson and Dorothy Lutes and brother Cerdic.
A family graveside Service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Rhoda's memory made to the Canadian Cancer would be appreciated by the family. 1950 - 2011 - Gary L. Crossman of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, March 10th, 2011 at the age of 60. Born in Turtle Creek, NB, July 5th, 1950 he is the son of Rhoda (Collier) Crossman and the late Leverett Crossman.Gary “Sweetie” became a quadriplegic as the result of a motor vehicle accident at the age of 22. Gary wasted no time getting involved in the community, including one of the founders of Ability Transit, involvement in many wheel chair sports, housing and wheelchair accessibility for the disabled, lecturing at schools on the dangers of drinking and driving. Garys deteriorating health, due to bed sores prevented him from continuing to volunteer. He is survived by his wife Linda “Babe” (LeBlanc) Crossman, his mother Rhonda of the Jordan Life Care Centre, Riverglade, sisters; Joan Murray (Art), Debbie Murray (Fred) all of Riverview, Sheila Burt of Moncton, brothers; Cerdic (Thea) of Berryton and Gene (Gail) of Petitcodiac, as well as many, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was predeceased by brothers Robert, Brian and a nephew Tony Campbell. At Gary’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Willard Lloyd Crossman passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, April 1 1990. He is survived by his wife Leona Chapman- Gillis (Cossman), daughters Phyllis andora, sons Charles Ken, Robert and Burton. He was predeceased by his first wife Enid P. Wilson (Crossman) in 1980.

HAINES, DORA CROSSMAN - Dora Crossman Haines, of Dorn Ridge, wife of the late Wallace Haines, occurred on January 18, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton in 1938, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Enid Crossman of Moncton. Dora is the mother of Deborah Haines (Erwan) of Montreal, PQ, Bill Haines of Fredericton and David Haines (Pamela Hatheway) of Fredericton; grandmother of Michael, Melissa, Anna and Olivia Haines; sister of Phyllis (Ulysses) Dupuis of Moncton, Ken (June) Crossman of Moncton, Charlie (Teddy) Crossman of Moncton, Burton (Geri) Crossman of Calgary, AB, Robert (Corinne) Crossman of Bonaccord, AB and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Thelma and Colin Cumberbatch of Duncan, BC. She was a member of the Dorn Ridge Church of Christ, Burtts Corner Tops, Fredericton Quilters Guild, Keswick Valley Seniors, the Young at Heart Seniors in Burtts Corner and the Laubach Literacy Council. Dora was comforted by all the prayers and good wishes from all the churches in her community and her many friends and family throughout her battle with cancer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
201. David Earl CROSSMAN
David E. Crossman of Lutes Mountain, passed away at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Norman and Verna (Tingley) Crossman.
David was a printer for most of his working career, having worked at Moncton Publishing and later at The Moncton Hospital from where he retired. He had many interests in life, mostly sugar making, gardening, traveling, country music, and his Blue Jays.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 25 years, Janet (Briggs) Crossman, daughter, Darla Crossman (Martin Herring) of Riverview, son, David Crossman of Riverview, step daughter, Corrlee Hebert (Marc) of Lutes Mountain, step son, Wade McConnell (Chantale) of Ammon, brother, Garry (Dorothy) of Turtle Creek, 6 grandchildren: Calvin, Ryan, Jaylee, Josee, Aidan and Caleb, one surviving uncle, Everett Tingley of Turtle Creek, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by 2 brothers: Reginald and Cecil.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 6-8 PM, with a service celebrating his life to take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11 AM, with Rev.
