Funeral Service for Linda A. Bannister,36, of Petitcodiac, NB, whose death occured Sunday, Sept 9,1979 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredereicton, will be held Tuesday, Sept 11 at 4pm from Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac. Interment will in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of Flowers, donations to a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.Born in Pollett River, she was a daughter of Thomas and Olive (Berry) Bannister. She had been employed as a clerk typist. She had been employed as a clerk-typist with the Bank of Nova Scotia, Petitcodiac. She was a member of the Forest Glen Baptist Church.She is survived by her parents three sisters, Mrs. Ivan Wade(Jennie), Petitcodiac; Mrs Wayne Bustin (Thelma), River Glade: Mrs, Garnet Davis (Laura), Truro, NS; two brothers, Eddie, Moncton: Roy, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews.The body is resting at Armstrong's Funeral home Petitcodiac from where the services will be held Tuesday at 4pm. Burial will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
519. Eddie BANNISTER
Eddie T. Bannister, 83, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the L. J. Jaillet Residence, in Moncton, on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 with family by his side. Born in Pollett River, NB he was the son of the late Thomas and Olive (Berry) Bannister.
Eddie was a retired auto mechanic, working many years for Moncton Chrysler, and later, for CRC RV’s. Eddie was very involved in his community, volunteering with Lions Sick Children’s Fund Inc. and the Canadian Cancer Society. He was an active member of Foresters, Lions Club, and most especially, the Hillside Baptist Church. Eddie cherished the time he had with his wife. He was so happy to be able to live with her again at the L. J. Jaillet Residence for the last 6 months before her recent passing in July, 2020.
Survived and sadly missed by his sister, Thelma (the late Wayne) Bustin; brother-in-law, Garnet Davis; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, including special nephew and godson, Aaron (Tracey) Smith.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Freda; siblings, Roy (Ethel) Bannister, Laura Davis, Jenny (Ivan) Wade, and Linda Bannister.
The family would like to express their love and appreciation for Jackie and her staff at the L. J. Jaillet Residence for the dignified care Eddie and Freda received. Jackie always went above and beyond and Eddie absolutely adored her.
Resting at The Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) from where visiting will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 4 – 6 pm and from where funeral service will be on Thursday, August 27 at 1 pm with Rev. Jerry Reddy officiating. Due to Covid-19, social distancing will be respected, masks are encouraged, and capacity may be limited. Interment will be in The Glades Cemetery, The Glades, NB.

1931-2021
Clarence Bannister of Moncton passed away on Sunday, March
28, 2021 at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Pollett River,
he was the son of Don and Hilda (Murray) Bannister.
He was formerly employed with Wallace Warehouse and retired
from Westinghouse and was a member of the Church of the
Nazarene.
Clarence will be dearly missed by daughters, Phyllis Wilson,
Cathie Way (John), Beverly Steeves (Fred), Kim Cole (Larry) and
Darlene Brown, son, Rick (Debbie), daughter in law, Kathy Bannister,
stepsons; Stuart, David, Paul and Ronald Costain, step daughter, Velma
Milburn, 23 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and two
great-great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Clarence was
predeceased by his wife Myrtle, daughter, Nancy Campbell; son, David
Bannister, the mother of his children, Shirley and a brothers, Oakley
and Eugene, sisters, Etta Trites and Lillian Bannister.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview, NB, (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A
celebration of Clarence’s life will take place from the
funeral home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 1 PM with Rev. Patti
Rossiter presiding. For those attending the service on Wednesday, you

with your name and number in your group. The interment will follow at
Steeves Mountain Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the IWK

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Etta Trites of Mississauga, ON on February 27, 2020.
She is survived by her husband Oram and predeceased by her parents, Donald & Hilda, baby brother Oakley, sister Lillian and brother Eugene.
She will be missed by her children Sandra (Mark) Johnson and Christopher (Patricia) Trites; her grandchildren Joshua (Mallorie) Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Sara (Chris) Klerks, Ashley (George) Orlu Martins, Tyler (Lyle) Smith and Karissa Trites; great-grandchildren Alexcia, Anthony and Lemarkiss; brother Clarence and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery - 10061 Chinguacousy Rd. Brampton (at Bovaird) 905-460-9155 on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 11am - 1 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1pm. Burial will be held at Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, followed by a reception in the funeral home.

DOUTHWRIGHT, MERLA DARLINE - 1938 - 2012 - Merla D. Douthwright, 74, of 21 Crystal Dr. Riverview, and formerly of Pollett River, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, November 16, 2012. Born in Pollett River, NB; she was the daughter of the late Hartley H. and Vera L. Douthwright. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and a member the Catherine McGorman Women's Missionary Society. Merla loved genealogy, she has traced the Douthwright Family back to the 17th Century. She is survived by her brother Vincent D. Douthwright (Penny) of Pierrefonds, PQ; a niece Pamela Douthwright, a great nephew Kevin, great niece Samantha Kennedy; her uncle Russell Douthwright; aunt Doris Geldart, several cousins and close friends whom she loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Baptist Church, on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2:30pm with Rev. Jonathan Gorham officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. CORMIER, SHEILA B. - Sheila B. Cormier, 66, of Moncton, with loving family members at her side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, November 30, 2012. Born in Sunny Brae, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Marion (Douthwright) Douthwright. Sheila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed shopping, doing crafts, baking, listening to music, watching television game shows, socializing with her friends, and spending precious time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sheila will be sadly missed by her loving husband of over 20 years, Bernard “Bernie” Cormier; her daughters, Shirley DeRoche (Fred) of Quispamsis and Karen Melanson (Ron) of Moncton; son, Brian Herman Jr. (Charlene) of Riverview; precious grandchildren, Leo, Ryan, Matthew, Tyler, Jordan, Brian Jr., MacKenzie and Rebecca; cherished great-grandchildren, Zack, Josh, Abbi, Isabella, Gavin, Riley and Owen; sisters, Geraldine Bannister (Lewis) of Pine Glen, Thelma Allen (late Vance) of Toronto; brother, Richard Douthwright (Carol) of Rosevale; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
