Bing Gildart says that one of Priscilla's grandsons, Alvin, told him that Priscilla was born a Copp and was adopted by Rosannah and John. I have not been able to confirm this and no one else in this family seems to have any knowledge of her being adopted.

BISHOP, RUBY - Ruby (Steeves) Bishop, 92, of Petitcodiac, passed away July 10, 2011 at the Jordan Life Care Centre. Born at The Glades, May 5, 1919, Ruby is the last surviving member of her family (late William and Sarah (Bannister) Steeves). She was a loved wife, mother, grammie, great grammie, and friend to all. Ruby leaves to mourn her husband, Bertram; daughter, Phyllis MacPherson (James); daughter-in-law, Mona Bishop (late William) both of Petitcodiac; grandchildren, Sherry Wright (Glenn) of Wasaga Beach, Ont., Shannon MacPherson (Christian), Shane MacPherson (Jessica) both of Petitcodiac; Anita Bishop, Barbi Jo Bishop both of Moncton, Cpl. Cynthia Bishop of Camp Gagetown, Graeme (Barb) Bishop of Homestead Road; great grandsons, Derrick and Roland Bishop; great granddaughter, Lola MacPherson; sisters-in-law, Jean Steeves, Frances Gillies, Margaret Balzer; brother-in-law, Stephen Lewis; special friends, Sandra and Wallace Kaye. Ruby was predeceased by her son, William (2005) and six brothers, John, Hugh, William, Milton, Warnock, and Norman. Ruby worked at the Jordan Memorial Sanatorium for 17 years. She was a life member of W.M.S, The Glades and a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church. In the good years of her health, she enjoyed ceramics, knitting and crocheting.Visitation will be held at Armstrong’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held from the Petitcodiac Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 2pm with Rev. R. Thomas and Rev. D. Woodworth officiating. Burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery following the reception. If so desired, donations to the Jordan LifeCare Centre would be appreciated.
