Sadie will be sadly missed by her daughters; Ardith Bannister(Russell) of Red Deer, Albertaand Sheila Reid(Laurence) of Moncton.Sons; David (Sheila) of St. Paul, NB...Earl(Pauline) of Moncton...Dale(Yvonne) of Halifax, NS, and Royden(Suzanne) of Moncton.Daughters-in-law...Beatrice(Gerald) and Pauline(Merle). 29 grandchildren, 29 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David; Sons, Gerald and Merle.The last surviving member of her immediate family...she was also predeceased by herbrothers, John and Percy; sisters, Lillian and Edith.
Interment was at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
ROBB, NELLIE - Nellie Seviah (Weir) Robb, 96, of the Jordan Lifecare Center, The Glades and formerly Salisbury passed away peacefully Saturday, November 30, 2013 at her residence. Born in Middlesex she was a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Geldart) Robb. A homemaker she was a member of the Middlesex Baptist Church and the W.M.S. of the church. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and cooking for her family. Survived and sadly missed by her children Arnold Weir (Sylvia Mitton) of Middlesex, Harold Weir (Dorothy Louise) of St. George, Helen Wright (Robert) of Salisbury, Brian Weir and Julia Quinlan, both of Rocky Mountain House, A.B.; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her first husband Robert N. Weir; second husband Clifford Robb;daughter in law Phyllis Weir; brothers Archie, Johnny, Irvine, Andy, Hughie and Earl Robb; sisters Abbie, Marion, Eva, Mamie, and Annie; grandsons Craig and Bruce Weir.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be in the chapel, Wednesday, December 4 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Blyth officiating. 541. Myrtle O'BRIEN
Myrtle (Myrt) Ernestine Nimchuk (O’Brien) entered Heaven’s Gates on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Born in Turtle Creek, NB on April 22, 1941. Myrtle was an avid crafter, had a natural born talent for creating beautiful crafts and ceramic figurines. Crocheting and quilting was also in her repertoire of talents.
Growing up in Salisbury, NB, Myrtle loved music, singing and dancing. At many family get-togethers she could be seen playing guitar while other members of the family played the banjo, mandolin and accordion. Her and her sisters loved to get up on picnic tables and dance to the music of the accordion.
Myrtle is predeceased by her mother Hazel O’Brien (Weir) father Ernest O’Brien and her sister Sylvia Trueman (O’Brien). Myrtle is survived by her sister Marilyn Rogers, brother, Robert O’Brien (Nola), her three daughters, Bernice VanSnick, Helen Creswell (William) and Laura Plourde. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Nicholas, Shawn and Breanna as well as a great grandson Joel. In lieu of a wake and funeral, a celebration of Myrtle’s life will be held on Thursday, November 24 at 2:00 pm at Fair Haven Cemetery, Serenity Niche. All are welcome to attend. Instead of flowers, memorial donations in Myrtle’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or the Canadian Liver Foundation
Weldon Currie Bannister, 88, of Havelock passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at home.
Born in Petitcodiac he was the son of the late Currie and Rella (Mann) Bannister.
Weldon was a retired Industrial Mechanic of 38 years with Canada Cement Lafarge. He was an active member of the Havelock Baptist church having served on boards and was a Sunday School teacher. Weldon volunteered for many years with the St. John Ambulance and the Havelock Memorial Hall.
He is survived and sadly missed by his wife of 60 years Nancy (Plume); sons Terry (Ann), Havelock, Tim, Saint John, Trevor (Slena), Moncton; grandchildren Darcie Bell (Ben), SK, Justin Bannister (Rachel), AB, Jeffery Bannister (Melissa), Moncton, Zachery Bannister, Moncton, Emily Bannister, Moncton, Marie Baird, Truro, Alex Bannister, ON, Alicia Bannister, Moncton; great grandchildren Noah, Sadie, Corbin, Liam and Matthew; brothers Hanford and Arnold Bannister, Petitcodiac and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased sister Elizabeth (Rachel) Bannister. Interment at Greenhill Cemetery at a later date.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, March 28 from 5 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held at the Havelock Baptist church, Wednesday, March 29 at 2 pm with Pastor Jeff Irving and Rev. Bill Parks officiating. Interment at Greenhill Cemetery at a later date.

BANNISTER, RACHEL ELIZABETH - Rachel Bannister, 70, of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, October 24th, 2011. Born in Petitcodiac, she was a daughter of the late Currie and Rella (nee Mann) Bannister. Rachel is survived by her siblings: Weldon Bannister (Nancy) of Havelock; Hanford Bannister of Petitcodiac; and Arnold Bannister of Petitcodiac; as well as by several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or funeral service as per Rachel’s request. A private graveside committal service will be held at a later date in the Petitcodiac Baptist Church Cemetery. LOUNSBURY, WILFRED JAMES - Wilfred James Lounsbury, 90, of the Jordan LifeCare Center and formerly of Wheaton Settlement, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his residence.Born in Wheaton Settlement, he was a son of the late G. Edwin and Edith (Howard) Lounsbury. Wilfred was a retired farmer, carpenter and mail driver. He was a member of the Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church. He is survived and missed by his daughters Alice Symes (Joe) of Harcourt and Mary Plaggenborg (Johan) of Sussex; sons James (Olive) and David (Debbie) both of River Glade and Nelson (Mary) of Coles Island; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; brother George of Wheaton Settlement; sister Edith Allen (William) of River Glade; sister in law Maude Colpitts; brother in law Claude Bannister; special niece Sherry Seely (Grant) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife W.
