101. Calvin Merle PROSSER
PROSSER, REV. CALVIN - Rev. Calvin Merle Prosser, in his 100th year, of Golden Years, Moncton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Glenvale, he was a son of the late Solomon and Violet Prosser. Calvin was a cook for 21 years having spent 6 of those years at the United Pentecostal Bible Institute. He then went on to become a Pentecostal Pastor serving in many areas including, Hillsborough, Springfield, Ripples and 21 years at Benton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Marie (Lawson) and several nieces, nephews and friends. Calvin is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is predeceased by sister Ethel Prosser and brothers Lester, Galen, Gilbert and Harold.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday, July 11 from 7 to 9 pm and where the funeral will be held in the chapel Thursday, July 12 at 1 pm with Rev. PROSSER, CECIL HIRAM - 1918 - 2011 - Cecil Hiram Prosser, passed away peacefully in Calgary, Alberta on May 4, 2011. Cecil was born December 26, 1918, the son of Hiram Beverly Prosser and Lulu Clementine Geldart of Parkindale, NB. Cecil is survived by his devoted and loving wife Agnes (nee Irving) Prosser of sixty-six years; sons, Paul (Anne), and Michael (Mildrey); daughters, Irene, Linda, and Sharleen (John) MacRae; sisters Francis (William) Murray and Doreen (Stanley) Osmond; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Cecil was predeceased by his brother Clarence; sisters Alice (John) Joyce, Catherine (Guy) Geldart, and Verna (Wallace) Gillcash. Cecil was a veteran of World War II and was employed by Air Canada for thirty-three years.
