67. Priscilla Evangeline GELDART
Bing Gildart says that one of Priscilla's grandsons, Alvin, told him that Priscilla was born a Copp and was adopted by Rosannah and John. I have not been able to confirm this and no one else in this family seems to have any knowledge of her being adopted.
202. Cora Annie BANNISTER
KILLAM, CORA
It is with saddened hearts the family of Cora Annie (nee Bannister) (MacKinnon) Killam of Kenneth E. Spencer Home and formerly of Wheaton Settlement and Lewis Mountain, announces her passing on September 7, 2015 at the age of 94. Born in River Glade, she was a daughter to the late Fletcher and Clara (nee Prosser) Bannister and loving wife to her late first husband, Medley MacKinnon, and to her late second husband, Alfred Killam.
Cora is survived by her daughters: Judy Wilson (Layton) of Wheaton Settlement, Carol MacKinnon (Ian) of Calgary and Shirley Wilson (Neil) of Wheaton Settlement; her step-daughter Linda Quillan (Len); her step-sons: Burt Killam (Elaine), and Merle Killam (Bonnie); five grandchildren: Darryl, Allison, Paul, Coralee and Christopher; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Abigail, Kaylan, Leah, Hannah, Liam and Elijah; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her sister Sybil Dobransky of Ohio, USA; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides her parents and husbands, Cora was predeceased by her sister Lillian Steeves, and her brother Clarence Bannister.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, Petitcodiac (506-756-3361). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm and the funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Hagerman presiding, all in the First North River Baptist Church. Interment will take place in the Wheaton Settlement Cemetery.
206. Mildred PROSSER
PROSSER, MILDRED - Mildred Angivine Prosser, 95, of Petitcodiac, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Monarch Hall, Riverview. Born in Lewis Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Martha (Lane) Prosser. Mildred retired from Canada Post, as a beloved postmistress of the Petitcodiac Post Office, after more than thirty years of service. A member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, she enjoyed cross stitch, loved gardening, cooking for family and friends, and was also a devoted caregiver to her father and sister Lois. She is survived and missed by her brothers Donald (Mary) of Hamburg, ON, Earl (Rose) of Smithville, ON and Stewart of Dieppe; sister Verna Cochrane (late Arnold) of Akester, ON; several nieces and nephews including one niece, Kathy Prosser of Moncton, with whom she was very close. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Weldon; sister Lois and three infant siblings.
The funeral will be held at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) Sunday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. David Woodworth officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac. 208. David Dale PROSSER
David (Junior) Dale Prosser, 80, of Jordan LifeCare Centre and formerly of River Glade passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the centre.
Born in Petitcodiac, he was the son of the late David Irven and Ella Mae (Crandall) Prosser. David was retired from the Department of Transportation Commercial Vehicle Division. For many years he was an active Mason at the former Salisbury Masonic Lodge (past Worshipful Master), a member and Past President of the Salisbury Lions Club and member of Saint James United Church in Petitcodiac. He enjoyed spring sugarmaking, was a longtime caretaker of the Prosser Family Cemetery receiving an award for its restoration, and served as the committee chairperson for the Crandall family reunions. Family get togethers and visits were very important to David.
He is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Isabel; daughter Susan Goddard (Brian), Alberta; sons Dale (Diane), River Glade and Gilbert (Debi), Alberta; grandchildren Amanda Goddard, Jennifer White (Jason), Callista Prosser (James), Nikita Prosser and Chastanity Prosser; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, sister in law Carol Prosser and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by brothers Raymond and Norman; sister Wilma Rodgers and granddaughter Miranda.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, January 22, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m in the chapel. Intermnet at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

Isabel Mary (Russell) Prosser, 80, on February 8, 2017, found release from the bonds of Alzheimer’s and is again holding hands with David in one of the Lords gardens.
Isabel was born to the late Alonzo and Katheran (Robinson) Russell in Pine Glen NB on July 5, 1936. She was also blessed to have had foster parents (late) Bliss and May Wilson.
She enjoyed the vocations of hair dressing and seamstress. In her early adult years, Isabel had a hairdressing salon in Salisbury and followed the trade for years. Later in life she was employed at the Jordan Memorial Auxiliary Home as a seamstress.
Isabel was actively involved with the Girl Guides of Canada and the Saint James United Church. She loved spending many hours singing within the rows of the Choir.
