LEAMAN , GLENDON HOWARD - 1941-2013 - Glendon Howard Leaman, 72, of Stoney Creek, passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Glendon was born in Stoney Creek, NB on August 10th, 1941 the son of the late Frederick and Ada (Prosser) Leaman. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Ontario until his retirement. He had a very easy going personality and was known for his generosity, he would give the shirt of his back if someone else needed it. He truly had a heart of gold. "Ever Remembered- Ever Loved" He will be sadly missed by his four daughters, Valerie Thiboult (Gary), Nancy Decoste (Jason), Cathy Hurlburt (Kevin) all of Oshawa, ON and Shannon Mobbs (Danny) of Berry, ON; sisters, Doreen Steeves (Joseph) and Barbara Cormier (Garfield) both of Stoney Creek; brother, Kenneth Leaman (Bette) of Bathurst; nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and by his special feline friend, Marlo. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, Stephen Leaman; brother-in-law, Gerald Cormier and nephew, Billy Steeves.

Estella (Stella) Mae Douthwright, 96, a life long resident of Salisbury, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, at the Jordan LifeCare Centre.
She was born on the Scott Rd. to the late John and Gertrude (Lounsbury) Close. Stella had been a custodian with the former School District 16. She enjoyed Monday Morning Merry Makers, Salisbury Golden Age Club, was a member of the Pinehill Cemetery Board of Directors, past treasurer, past president and life member of the Ladies' Auxillery RCL Branch 31 & 41 and a past member of the former Salisbury W.I.
Stella is survived by daughters Shirley Morrissey (late Stillman) of Salisbury, Esther Vaughan (late Frank) of Moncton, son Lee of Salisbury, grandchildren Clayton (Jeannie), Connie, Beverly (Byron), Sandra (Marc), Heidi (Paul), Valerie (Kelly), Tamara (Trent), Jason (Kaitlynn), Nicholas, John (Julie), great grandchildren Alysha, Teagan, Tanner, Tailyn, Lucas, Raymond, brother Allison of Moncton, sister-in-law Kaye Close of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. She's predeceased by the father of her children Melbourne Douthwright, daughter Faye (1963), sisters Annie McFarlane, Ruth Armstrong, brothers Gordon, Stanley, Roy Wilfred.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800), from where a Celebration of her life will take place Friday at 4pm in the chapel with Rev. Jennifer Brown officiating. Interment at Pinehill Cemetery at a later date.
