Norma Marie (Roy) Smith Peacefully at the Dr. G.-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, January 13, 2008. Born December 13, 1938 in Néguac, NB, she was the daughter of late Arthur Roy and Emma Robichaud. Norma will be sadly missed by her six children, Marva Roy of Noonan, Cheryl Virtue (Rick) of Sussex, Cindy Babineau (Roger) and Terry Weir of Moncton, Debbie Belliveau of Notre-Dame, Kenneth Weir of Red Deer, AB; her brothers and sisters, Roger (Carmella) of St-Paul, Jeannette Nixon (Walter) of Boiestown, Raymond (Huberte) of Ste-Marie, Diane Roy (Neil) of Montreal, Ronald of BC, Irene Arsenault (Kenneth) of Irishtown, Charline Deschênes (Yvon) of Woodstock; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her husband, Leslie Adolphus Smith. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Tony and Art. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton, Father Yvon Arsenault officiating. Sheila L. Weir, 57, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Born in Lutes Mountain, she was the daughter of Bette (Terris) and the late Ray Murray.
Sheila was a former waitress at the Wharf Village Restaurant and enjoyed reading, travelling and social gatherings.
In addition to her mother, Bette, Sheila will be sadly missed by her husband, David Weir; sons, Blair Killam (Elizabeth) of Moncton and Jaret Killam (Daisy) of Moncton; grandchildren, Breanna, Morgan and James; stepchildren, Cindy, Deborah, Terry and Kenneth; several step grandchildren; three sisters, four brothers and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In keeping with Sheila’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Interment will be held at Birch Hill Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Weir (nee Bishop), announces her passing on Sunday, May 12th, 2024 at the age of 74 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Pauline was born in Pine Glen, New Brunswick, Canada on August 7th, 1949 to Orris and Ethel Bishop, formerly of Pine Glen. She was the youngest of 5 children.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her son, Andrew (Lawrence) of Red Deer, Alberta, daughter, Vicky (David) of Edmonton, Alberta; grandsons, Brandon and Nicholas of British Columbia, and sister, Beatrice (Ned) of Newfoundland. She will also be missed by numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Merle Weir; parents, Orris and Ethel Bishop; Stepmother, Helen Bishop; sisters, Nancy (Byron) Stymiest, Lillian (Paul) Henshaw; Brother, Glendon Bishop; mother-in-law, Sadie (David) Weir and numerous other family members.
Pauline will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is also known as a lady who loved the outdoors, enjoyed bingo, family get togethers, reading, puzzles and simply hanging out with her friends; Shirley of Edmonton, Larry of Red Deer, Christine and Sean of St. Albert and Robin of Edmonton, all who will remember her fondly.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 2 p.m. with a viewing an hour prior from 1 p.m. to 2. p.m. at Westlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery 16310 Stony Plain Road Edmonton, Alberta.

Ardith (Weir) Bannister 1943-2005 Red Deer, Alberta--It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ardith Mae Bannister at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 23 at the age of 62. She will be missed more than words can say by her best friend and husband Russell Bannister; son, Jeffrey; daughters, Naomi (Larry), Terri (John), Angela (Ken), and fosterdaughter Denise (Joe). Ardith's grandchildren; Alysha, Tori, Erica, Jayce, Hailey and Riley were the lights of her life and gave her tremendous hope and happiness. Ardith is also survived by her sister, Sheila (Laurence) Reid; brothers, David (Sheila), Earl (Janet), Dale (Yvonne), and Royden (Suzanne) Weir; sisters-in-law, Vivian, Beatrice (Gerald), and Pauline (Merle). She was predeceased by her father, David; mother, Sadie Weir, and brothers, Gerald and Merle. Besides her immediate family, Ardith touched the lives of countless neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Laurence "Larry" A. Reid, 72, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday September 1st, 2012. Born in Hopewell Cape, he was the son of the late Percy Reid and Jean Dikens. Larry was a retired truck driver with Ben’s Bakery (32 years service), was an avid music collector and enjoyed gardening.
Larry will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Sheila (Weir) Reid; daughters, Cheryl Reid (David Pretty) of Halifax, NS; Cathy Hennessey (Shane) of Charlottetown, PE; Kim Reid (Danny Sonier) of Moncton; 3 precious grandchildren, Taylor, Amy and Carter Hennessey; brother, Thomas Dikens of Dallas, Texas. In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his step father, Douglas Dikens and sister, Carolyn Reid.

Mr. Jean Paul ‘John’ Berryere passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of 47 years. John was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on July 20, 1970 to Janet Ann (Leo) Stack and James Arnold (Brenda) Berryere. John attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology to complete his Interior Systems Mechanic Apprentice Training, and began his carrer with the Carpenter and Lather Union in B.C. He then operated a successful Drywall Business called Small Jobs Drywall in Red Deer, Alberta for many years, before his health declined. John was a creative person who enjoyed cooking and eating good food, hosting family and friends, painting, photography and gardening. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humour and his generous nature that was always seeking to give and to help others. John will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Janet and James, sister, Debra (Chad), brother, James (Jaqueline), nieces, Shaivona (Runyo), Adora, Teela, and Aylah, nephew, Brandin (Chantel); as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins in the Hope Town Area of Quebec. He will also be sadly missed by his family in Red Deer, Alberta; his ex-wife, Terri, daughter, Hailey, father-in-law, Russ Bannister, sisters-in-law, Naomi (Michael), Angela (Ken) and Denise (Joe), brother-in-law, Jeff, nieces, Alysha (Wesley), Erica (Reece) and Tori (Mike) and nephews, Jayce and Riley.
